Drew League v Goodman league

It was extremely fun to watch.

Kd, John Wall, Rudy Gay, and Beasley (goodman league)

v

Brandon Jennings, James Harden, Javale Mcgee, Ariza, Barnes, Derrick Williams, Nick Young, DeMar DeRozan, Dorrell Wright (Drew league)

Drew league won.  KD and Wall had around 50 a piece, and Harden had 50+.

Wall was unstoppable.  He is scary fast.

Rudy played like a professional, but wasn't as in to it.  He might be concerned with staying healthy.

KD hates to lose.  Even in this exihibition game, and having played yesterday, it showed that he really hates to lose.

Beasley is bad.  I mean like, comically bad.  He routinely tried to cherry pick on offense.  And when he successfully got position, he either blew the layup, fumbled the pass or just turned it over.  I think he was 1-8.  He was so bad the crowd applauded when he finally made one (around his 8th shot).

He must have spent half the game  complaining and fouled out of the game with 2 pts.  I'm sure he had more turnovers and fouls than points.  It wasn't until beasley fouled out that the Goodman league could pull close.

Also, Baron was there coaching.  I won't say he is exactly fat, but noticably 'thick'.  It appeared that his stomach was more convex than his pectorals.

Drew league

Derrick Williams was near invisible.  Maybe 2 boards and 1 fg. But benched for the second half.

Harden looked good.  He also looked competitive...seemed to enjoy guarding Durant.

Did you watch this on a stream?  Were you there in person?

I would kill someone for a stream.

That sounds like a ton of fun to watch.

KD is such a stud.

I find it pretty funny that an active NBA player was "coaching" rather than actually playing.

I was there in person.  They didn't allow any camcorders but allowed regular cameras.  For sure, they weren't streaming it.  It would be hard to even have high quality videos since they didn't allow cameras with detachable lenses.

It was definitely worth the price of admission ($28).
