Griffin, Paul, Billups all out with injuries.  Lamar better step it up and play a good game.  We should beat these guys easily but nowadays you never know what is going to happen with this team.  Revenge game for when they beat us at Staples.  If we don't win tonight this road trip is going to be an official disaster instead of just bad.

Can Thompkins play? or his he day to day as well?

Whats his story? I think getting him some minutes during a game like this might help.

Sometimes from the start you get the feel if the Clippers are going to win within minutes.  This doesn't have that feel. Yikes!  Please post up DJ tonight.

No Turk and no Davis, that leaves Anderson to guard Jordan? If he doesn't have a 20/10 night, I'll join the Jordan haters club.

Since that post Jordan got two touches and two dunks.  Keep feeding him.  If he doesn't score 15 points, this is on Vinny.

DJ does look  serious  !   He  looks  like a player who wants to carry the team and take charge....   Just having DJ   taking  on  this " Can do "  mentality is worth losing some games to get.. We probably will win this game if he stays out of  foul trouble.. Odom is already over playing and out..  !  Smile

The way Matt Barnes has been playing lately I don't think we have to worry about him getting a contract that will eat into our MLE...he's playing like a vet min player right now.  Memo to Barnes...the out-of-bounds- line is there for a reason.

   If Clippers are going to win this game, it will have to be through good consistent defense;  not letting the Magic have any thing easy...!  That  will be tough     {#emotions_dlg.omg_smile}

Glad to see Hollins getting some burn.

In Washington he was out on the court an hour early getting reps in.

Shots. Post moves. Working with Kim Hughes.

He's a local LA product.

Are we supposed to run the ball through Butler?

Orlando on Saturday

How can you forget Nicholson?  I posted about how good he looked when I saw him on NBA TV back in November.  I made a game thread on here as I was watching the Magic.

To be fair, you have to consider who it was against.  Hollins was a decent 7' college player...and today he was playing against college level talent.

Blesdoe has been a beast the last three games. I'm dully impressed. He needs to be playing 30 minutes a game for the remainder of the season. I don't care who's healthy.

Can someone find out what are his PER numbers when he starts vs. when he comes off the bench?

I meant within the context of Turiaf playing awful as of late, and using him against certain teams...I agree it was against essentially a D League team, but still, we wouldn't discount Bled or DJs efforts tonight. He is a good finisher and a decent shooter, which Turiaf isn't, so its a nice change of pace every now and then. Notice how Ronny came out with much more energy and focus once he saw his minutes eaten up by Hollins, getting us some timely rebounds.

Ryan Hollins guys...

Look, he played some major minutes in the Boston/Miami playoffs series last season.  He is tall and has a decent outside shot for a big man.  After this preformance, it would be retarded for him to not get more minutes after this.  I think he is a better player than Turiaf because he has more skills and elements to his game.  Turiaf has more energy, and plays better defense, but he hasn't been playing well as of late.

DJ is continuing to astound me with his play, another double double

Lamar Odom... yeah so he did play well today (he got 5 stls.. wow), and he only shot the ball 6 times, BUT we were playing the beat up Magic.

But the main reason we won is because of Bledsoe.  Bledsoe has calmed down in his play, he has synced himself with the starting unit, he is playing a ton of minutes, his shot is falling, and he is still showing how explosive he is offensively and defensively.

So yeah, this win makes me happy.  I know we beat a very bad team, but a lot of players came out and played well when they were supposed to.  We recovered from a crappy 1st 5 minutes to win the game by 10 on the road.

I like Hollins.

But for a 7', or just a center in general, he just doesn't rebound.

Who cares how well he shoots when iso crawford is like 90% of the plays?  I definitely care how well our center rebounds since iso crawford is like 90% of our plays.

He's been decent practically every game called upon. I think he gives us energy, defense and unlike any other big on the bench he can shoot. I hope we go back to him over Turiaf. i think we will  be better off for it. Yes he fouls a lot but generally they are good hard fouls making the opponent earn it at the free throw line.

No.  Just no.  He's a mess.  So foul prone he'd commit 8.3 fouls per 36 minutes if that were allowed.  So out of control. PER of 9.4 .  Just total mess.  No...

"More minutes" is far different than "good" which itself is far from claiming he'd have a "great" game..  He's awful in general.

When did I say "good"? He just has to be better than Turiaf...and in a lot situations and stretches he is. Obviously YOU arent a fan that sees anything in advance or even after the fact, cause you're a dumbass, meddling, mediating, often wrong but still stubborn & obnoxious, hall monitor.
