BTW, to show how not excited I am about this matchup, compared to last year: no special beer or wine for this game. Didn't do it the last time they met either.
If it was a playoffs matchup, that would be different.
Saturday's game holds a little more appeal, but it's also only the 3rd meeting between those teams, not the 4th.
One thing is for sure: our starters will have to step it up. Blake and DJ need to come to play and play hard. Blake and CP3 are our only possible advantage in the starting group and we can't have slow games from them.

I'm going to be hitting the Lag in the second half.

Jeff Van Gundy is solid, I'm not as familiar with Pasch.
Interesting, Pasch started in 2006-2007. As many national TV games that I watch, I guess I just don't remember memorable games in which he broadcasted.

I'd like to say that this is just another game against a sub .500 team...
But I hope we blow these guys out and win in such a way that I can rub that in the faces of my friends.

No Jamal Crawford tonight - sore left foot
That sucks...

Shit.
That's probably game. Damn. Damn damn damn.

Go root even harder man
to vote
Ah damn, that sucks!

If Bledsoe and Barnes push it, we can still run these guys off the floor.
to vote
Yeah but Bledsoe is injured as well (and admitted it a couple days ago that it's definitely harming his play). Is Butler even back?
to vote
Crawford being out will not be the deciding factor IMO.
There's too much guard depth, someone will step up. Paul, Bledsoe, someone.

Hmm, good point about Butler.
I just don't think this will be one of those matches that will be a loss because of injuries.

Butler will play tonight!! They will definetly miss Crawford, but will still beat lakers anyway!!

I like the optimism. I am feeling pretty low about Crawford being out, but you guys are slowly lifting my spirits.

Hey shyfan.

I'm not saying they'll win even with Crawford out.
I'm saying there's just so many other factors, and so many other players. That Crawford being out won't matter much.
We don't even know if this will be a frontcourt game or backcourt oriented game. We'll have to see as it takes shape.

Have you tried any of the Rogue Voodoo Doughnut ales?

As much as I'd love to beat the Lakers, I'm glad the Clips are resting their injuries.
If we don't win...I'm not listening to sports radio for a few days...

I hope Odom brought his man pants today.

Can you show me a pic (from the internet)?

I spotted him wearing Scooby Doo underwear before the game.
Does that count?

Soonerhopeful1 is probably looking for a stream right now.
Prediction as to which quarter he'll find one and show up?

This is the griffin we need.

Ewww...the second foul
We can't afford this dumb stuff tonight Blake.

Horrible call, horrible game changing bad call.

How was that a foul BY Griffin? That was a foul committed on him, not by him!
to vote
It didn't look like a foul on TV either in case you are wondering.

Green with the Great D on Kobe then hits the J!

Chauncey looks GQ on the bench.

Total BS on that Foul for DJ
What? He can't set screens on Kobe?
to vote
It's important to emphasize all of the good plays Willie Green makes tonight.

I am watching on TV as well. I go to the game tomorrow, not tonight :)

Great D by Green so far.
He isn't biting on the pump fakes and still contests the shot.
That is sooo hard to do on Kobe.

Chris Broussard sounds weird. His accent. And I've heard him for years, but today stands out.

If we win this game today without Crawford, do you think it says more about us or about them?
to vote
Well, it's interesting that VDN left Paul in, in the absence of Crawford. Let's see how that plays out. I hope it does not tire him out too much.

Bledsoe!

Interesting, the Clippers have a home-home back-to-back.
That happens to teams once every 2-3 years.
