Now after timeout... Is not this a VDN play... and we can't get the damn ball inbounds....VDN is not a good coach on out of bounds plays...Griffin would be better, at least he will get the ball, and get fouled.

C'mon Bledsoe, at least get one!

As a side note, going under screens when the opponent needs a three is just stupid.

Like CP3 said before the playoffs started....

Doesn't matter how many points you win by, they only count 4 wins. That's 2 ugly ass wins.

I'll take it...

You can not miss 5 free throws in the last 11 seconds and expect to win in the playoffs.

We lucked out.

I'll take it :)

For the record:

Foye got 8 points in the second half, Mayo 0.

Jordan didn't play much at all in the second half.  Cp3 stl >> Jordan Blocks

So I have to take two shots?

Honestly, I have to cook tonight.  I'll take one shot now, and save one for later.  What do you say?

I'm happy we won too and everything. And I'm not going to blame Bled, but we clearly needed more FT shooters out there so the Griz can't just double Paul and let a 63.6% foul shooter take the 4 biggest free throws of the game. Vinny got bailed out.

Really miss Chauncey in those situations, he's so good at getting the ball. I would feel comfortbale that the lesson would be learned for later down the line, but we still can't inbound either. This loss would have been devastating because it was avoidable. Instead we "survived". Oh me oh my.

Really difficult to be too hard on VDN for that.

Mo was a bit injured.  Is the injured Mo still a better ft shooter?

Also, he doesn't have any timeouts to make subs.  We have the lead, so the best way to win is to stop them from scoring.  Bledsoe >>> Mo.

Bledsoe is also the fastest guy on the floor.  He has the best chance to get open, unless memphis just lets Evans receive the ball.

Bledsoe was out there to play defense.  He is way better defender than Williams and a big part of why our 4th quarter defense was so good.    He's also a much better rebounder than Williams and unlike game 2 our perimeter players held their own on the glass against the Grizzlies perimeter players.

I'd be fine if Bledsoe got almost all the backup SG minutes the rest of the series and Williams played less.

Jordan and Griffin were both off their games tonight, but Evans and Martin were both good.  It nice to have enough depth up front to cover if someone is having a bad game.  Too bad we don't have that on the wings.

Foye had an excellent game, we could use a lot of minutes from him if he keeps playing well.

Let me suggest to VDN, that he  practice more his imbounds plays..!  ,.  We've got to be in the bottom of league in inbounding under pressure.  We do suck.

We  correct a few problems we are having, and hit our FT' shots better, and we can show well...!  For Griffin he had a bad game, and we still won.   Smile

Nuraman,

If the bet says 2 shots, there is no saving one for later. It's all in good fun though. 2 shots to celebrate the crazy win. Your cooking is just going to have to suffer.

True Sooner, at least if we could have better inbound plays we could get the ball to our preferred shooters in Paul in Foye. But we have no good plays to get those guys the ball. Hope we are more proactive in fixing these issues, rather than waiting till we lose a game because of this. All in all, I couldn't be happier that we won but this would have been a gut punch of a loss. Man, these guys are tough.

It would also be really nice if we had one tall guy who could make FTs, he could either take the inbound or we could lob it up to him if everyone is being tightly guarded, unfortunately Jordan  had the best FT% percentage of the our rotation bigs during the season, which is kind of sad (where is Brian Cook on the extremely rare occassions he might be useful?).

After watching the replay from behind the basket camera angle; of  the CP3 last assist play Dunk to Griffin,   Griffin was openly complaining after dunk and Z-Bo did clearly foul him big time..! How is that a  no call on that Dunk....?

           It would seem if your a big dunker, then fouls on your dunks do not count.,  Griz were much more physical, and yet no more fouls given.    {#emotions_dlg.facepalm}

               Bledsoe is like our " Guided Missle " on defense, our secret weapon that we can unleash in a game..  He still needs some work, but I am sure happy we kept him...!   {#emotions_dlg.thumbs_up}

Blake was pretty pissed getting pulled out late throwing his mouth piece on the floor as he exited the court. And it seemed like CP3 was arguing with VDN about plays at the end. A win, but there seemed to be a bit a of dissension in the air.

Good win though..it didn't look good going in the 4th. Good job, Clips.

So happy about that win.  Soooo close.  I didn't like how Grizz controlled the tempo the entire game, down to the buzzer.

I also made a bet about Colon vs. Hellickson, but it appears my friend isn't available.  Nonetheless, I'll take my 2nd shot for the clippers game, now.

Ok, great victory, but where is our $10 mil center????? Today 18 min, 0 pts, 3 rbs, 1 blk.......THATS IT!!!!! (oh yea......4 fouls). I barely notice him even playing in this series thats how nonexistant he is out there.

I notice every time he plays.  He can't guard his man.  It is frustrating.

4 boards?  Seriously Blake?  Wow!  He played like total noob in the 4Q today.  He needs to develop a legit post game in the worst way.  Must work on that short turn-around bank in the off season.

I hate frigging NBA refs!  They are sooooooo damn crooked!

They have a FT shooting coach, Marc Iavaroni.  He's improved Jordan's FT %.
